Before i show you how to unlock bootloader on sony xperia e1, let's first find out whether we have locked bootloader or unlocked bootloader on our xperia e1.
The common way, to find out about bootloader status on xperia devices is through the secret service menu, take a look at xperia e1 secret codes.
You can go to service menu, by dialing *#*#7378423#*#* on your xperia e1, if you dial correctly the service menu will pop up.
Step by step how to check bootloader status locked or unlocked
- go to service menu by dialing *#*#7378423#*#*
- select "Service info"
- select "Configuration"
- take a look at "Rooting status:"
- if it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes" that means you have locked bootloader
- if it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: No" that means you have locked bootloader but you can't unlock the bootloader by yourself
- if it says "Bootloader unlocked: Yes" that means you have unlocked bootloader
