FM Radio on Xperia E1

I forget to mention that xperia e1 does have FM radio built in, FM radio is becoming rare these days, high-end phone like nexus 5, galaxy s4, galaxy note 3 does not have FM radio at all.

It's a nice thing to have an analog radio on your phone, unlike internet radio analog radio does not required internet connection, you just need to plug a headset/earphones which act as antenna.

Unfortunately, the FM radio on xperia e1 is not recordable, so you can't record the radio broadcast, other company like Samsung and LG usually allow to record radio broadcast.

The good thing is, the FM radio can work together with TrackID app, so you can find out what's the name of the song and also the artist from the radio broadcast.

Another cool feature is that you can choose visualiser while listening to the radio broadcast, visualiser is a background animation when the radio is turn on.

You got four different visualiser on xperia e1 :

1. Gate
2. Glow
3. Animal
4. Ballon

And of course you can also listen the radio through the loudspeaker, remember xperia e1 does have 100dB speaker which could be very loud.

That's it about the radio, not much to talk about, but it is a nice thing to have an analog radio on your phone, and yes some people are still listening to FM radio, like myself.
